Donation Policies

For Social Welfare

In general, these funds will be given to the following:

1) Widows of ex-employee
2) Any retired employee who cannot work. If he has no other means of support.
3) Any one who died of an accident / or otherwise while in service.
4) If the recipient of monthly donation expires than a lump sum amount equivalent to 3 months donation should be paid to the widow / next of Kin on a one time basis and the monthly charity discontinued.
5) Donations are also made to such social institutions, who have been rendering sincere service for the cause of humanity and uplift of the common people having similar aims and objects as the Foundation.

For Health

The foundation has encouraged support to diverse efforts for the care of terminally ill and to fund free medical treatment through institutions with cost effective programs.

In general, these funds will be given to the following:

1) Widows of ex-employee
2) Any retired employee who cannot work. If he has no other means of support.
3) Any one who died of an accident / or otherwise while in service.
4) No payment is to be given directly to any current employee. In exceptional cases in cases of family medical problems aid can be given.
5) Donations are also made to such Medical institutions who have been rendering sincere service for the cause of humanity and the uplift of common people having similar aims & object as the foundation.

For Education

The foundation has committed itself for improve the quality of education in Pakistan through efforts in the following areas:

Primary education:

Under this theme the foundation supports organizations working towards providing subsidize education to the under privileged (Two primary schools have been get with the Citizen Foundation www.thecitizensfoundation.org we have set up two primary schools (Pictures) in areas close to the Factory where currently about 500 children are receiving quality education at highly subsidized rates.

Educational grants:

Scholarships for higher education in Pakistan are awarded to students in need, primarily for undergraduate studies in architecture, engineering & medicine.

In general, educational grants will be given to the following:

1) Dependents of current or former employees of the Chinoy Group of Companies, who cannot afford the fees.
2) The grant will only cover tuition fees & not living fees and will be dependent on the scholastic progress of the candidate.
3) In general it is expected that the beneficiary would at the completion of his education have a preference to seek employment in the Chinoy Group of Companies.
